Terms of Service
Last updated: September 2026. These terms form the agreement between you and ProEnergySaver covering your use of proenergysaver.app, including every calculator, guide and feature on it. If you do not accept any part of them, please stop using the site.
1. What the service is
ProEnergySaver provides free household electricity cost estimators and energy-saving guides. All calculations run in your browser. There is no account, no payment and no subscription, and we may add, change or withdraw any feature at any time without individual notice.
2. Estimates and disclaimer of liability
Every result is an arithmetic projection based on the wattage, hours and rate you supply — it is not a bill. Real charges vary with tiered rate blocks, seasonal adjustments, time-of-use tariffs, standing and connection charges, fuel cost adjustments, taxes, appliance age and ambient conditions. We make no warranty as to accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose, and you should not rely on these figures alone for a significant financial, purchasing or engineering decision. To the fullest extent permitted by law we accept no liability for any direct or indirect loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the site.
3. Where our tariff data comes from
Default electricity rates are drawn from published official and utility sources — among them the US EIA, UK Ofgem, CLP and HK Electric, Taipower and Japan's METI — and are reviewed periodically. Utility rates change often, so we recommend overriding the default with the unit rate printed on your most recent bill for the closest match.
4. Acceptable use
You may use the site freely for personal and household purposes. You may not scrape content at scale with automated tools, circumvent technical restrictions, disrupt the service, or republish our data in a misleading way. Quoting a table in educational or editorial work is welcome provided you credit ProEnergySaver and link to the source page.
5. Intellectual property
All original text, guides, compiled data, tables and interface design on this site are protected by copyright and may not be reproduced, adapted or republished commercially without written permission. Brand and product names mentioned are used for identification only and remain the property of their respective owners.
6. Third-party links and advertising
The site contains third-party links, advertising and Amazon affiliate links. We do not control the content, pricing or privacy practices of external sites and accept no responsibility for them. Once you leave the site, that destination's own terms and policies apply.
7. Changes and governing law
We may revise these terms from time to time; the revision date at the top of this page will change and continued use after that constitutes acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong SAR, and if any provision is found unenforceable the remainder stays in full effect.
